When my girls were growing up in Northwest Alabama I made a garden every year. I would can away 200 jars of green beans, 200 jars of peas, several jars of carrots, squash for casseroles, butterbeans...oh! the list is endless...and with all of the company we had over on weekends..my cupboards would be almost empty by the next gardening season..My girls were raised on country sunshine and veggies! They LOVE salad bars! This brought back so many memories of gardens gone by...I dont garden any longer since it is just the hubby and I and we live in NC, 650 miles from my family now...No large family or groups to cook for makes it quiet lonely sometimes.

How beautiful! Looks like you had a lovely morning! I would love if we had a farmers market like that nearby.
