Sharing family memories through cooking!

Cookbook 2

What is it about cookbooks??? Especially cookbooks with a lot of red ... and embellishments ... and places to keep memories! I finally got around to making the sample of Simple Stories' Family Recipe book and am dying to share it with everyone in class.

Cookbook 3

The book has adorable dividers ... some with funny sayings. Very sturdy, too!

Cookbook 4

I love that there are places to personalize it too ... perfect for writing the history of a recipe ... a funny story ... or a message if it's a gift to a new family member aka 'the bride'. The page on the right is folded back and that sweet little heart holds it closed so you could write something secret! Like the recipe only the family knows. Cool, huh?

Cookbook 5

Lots of recipe cards to use ... they are protected in a plastic sleeve to keep them neat ... and sometimes there are stickers on the outside to make them more fun.

I had so much fun putting this book together. Now I'm thinking of some other book themes!

Love this so much! Anything vintage kitchen makes me so happy! Prob'ly coming in Saturday with my brother in law who is learning to quilt.
Looking forward to giving you some of my moola in exchange for some of your totally cool, creative and inspiring stuff!

Can I just purchase the kit?

Roseann

Well the kits are all the same but it has a cooking theme so it could work boy or girl. Lots of red and black ... it's exactly like I showed ... the papers and embellishments coordinate with the recipe cards.

Debra

My 21-year-old son in college wants a 'Moving Out' cookbook. This would be perfect! I assume the papers could be changed up to be geared towards him?

Roseann

It is so much better in person ... you'd love it!

Mrs. DillyDally

Love this! Family heirloom recipes deserve this!
