Sharing family memories through cooking!

What is it about cookbooks??? Especially cookbooks with a lot of red ... and embellishments ... and places to keep memories! I finally got around to making the sample of Simple Stories' Family Recipe book and am dying to share it with everyone in class.

The book has adorable dividers ... some with funny sayings. Very sturdy, too!

I love that there are places to personalize it too ... perfect for writing the history of a recipe ... a funny story ... or a message if it's a gift to a new family member aka 'the bride'. The page on the right is folded back and that sweet little heart holds it closed so you could write something secret! Like the recipe only the family knows. Cool, huh?

Lots of recipe cards to use ... they are protected in a plastic sleeve to keep them neat ... and sometimes there are stickers on the outside to make them more fun.

I had so much fun putting this book together. Now I'm thinking of some other book themes!
